I began writing stories in grade school and always enjoyed activities involving writing—school newspaper and literary magazines. After graduating from Sweet Briar College with a Creative Writing/English degree, I then completed my Masters in English at Villanova University.
My dream job after college was teaching middle and high school English and coaching varsity teams in field hockey, basketball and tennis. After raising four wonderful children with my husband Patrick, I became a Pre-K to 12th grade school administrator for many years. Now I write children’s books full-time—several based on bedtime stories I once told my children.
When I’m not writing I can be found on the tennis and platform tennis courts or playing with my grandchildren. I live in the Philadelphia suburbs, around the corner from a library which is very convenient for an avid reader!
